Tradewinds resort is a 10 to 15 minute stroll from Port Vila shopping centre over looking the pristine Erakor Lagoon. Its location takes advantage of the cooling breeze of the SE tradewinds hence giving this mini resort its name. Tradewinds proximity to seaside settlement ensures that guests have a true Melanesian experience. The happy hellos of these children are an inevitable part of your stay.
Tradewinds offers 6 individual studio bungalows that can sleep up to two adults and one child in comfort, two 2 bedroom studios that can sleep up to five people and one 4 bedroom house that can sleep up to eight people. All bungalows/houses are fully screened and feature extensive use of tropical timbers. The rooms have been equipped to suit the needs of all different guests, be it family, couples, or business travelers.
Guests at Tradewinds are met personally at the airport by Melanesian Tours. Airport transfers are in deluxe air conditioned mini-vans and guests are normally settled into their bungalows before other passengers have even left the airport!
Tradewinds does not have its own restaurant but does have a big BBQ area and the nearest Restaurant is only 200m away. Every Tuesday night we have a BBQ night offering the best Vanuatu beef and freshly caught fish.
