Mango Sunset Bed and Breakfast Inn overlooks our eight-acre Kona coffee farm located in North Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Located at 2,000 feet on the western slope of Hualalai Volcano in the Kona Coffee Belt, our average temperature is in the mid-70s, year-round. From our covered Lanai (porch), Mango Sunset Bed & Breakfast Inn's guests have a stunning view of five miles of Kona coastline.
Just ten minutes from Kona International Airport and downtown Kailua-Kona, our lodging accommodations include three bright and cozy Guestrooms with either private or shared baths. We prepare Outstanding Breakfasts for you that always include 100% Kona Coffee, fresh tropical fruit and 100% fruit juice. We are a favorite Kona lodging choice for SCUBA divers and snorkelers.
Our Kona lodging accommodations feature guestrooms with sliding glass doors out to the lanai with sweeping views of miles of Kona coastline. Guests and hosts enjoy their Breakfasts together on the lanai.
Our Bed & Breakfast Inn has bamboo floors, teak furniture and Hawaiian island décor. All doors and trim are of mahogany and all rooms have ceiling fans and reading lights. The Honu (Green Sea Turtle) guestroom, as well as the O'opau-kai (Coral Gobie), share a bathroom, while the Hahalua (Manta Ray) has its own. Our mattresses and bedding are of the highest quality and all rooms are insulated for sound.
Mango Sunset is a smoke-free environment and we do not permit smoking anywhere on our premises. As is the custom in Hawaii, we remove our shoes before coming inside the Inn. Guests are free to use our DVD/VCR, board games and large selection of West Hawaii related books and maps, found in the Activity Room. Our SCUBA and snorkeling guests can enjoy our gear rinsing and drying facilities.
The kitchenette in the Activity Room is open to guests for their own purposes. There is a shelf for you in the guest fridge where you can place your own goodies. You can heat your leftovers or take-outs in the microwave, but if you use the house dishes (other than breakfast), we ask that you please clean them afterwards (all supplies provided). Mahalo. We recycle everything and appreciate your participation in that as well.

The seventh night of any Consecutive Stay in the same room is FREE OF CHARGE.
We have a two night Minimum Stay.
For any one-night stays agreed to by us, we charge a $25.00 cleaning fee
We have a Roll-Away bed for an extra person for $30.00 per night (Hahalua Room)
All Reservations require that we receive your Credit Card charge or check to us for $200.00, or 100% of the first two days, at reservation time (unless otherwise agreed to). Unless we have charged you the whole amount, the balance will be charged upon arrival by cash or card.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund your deposit (or full payment if made) in full, minus a $25.00 handling charge, provided we have received your written cancellation notice two weeks prior to your arrival date. Between two weeks and three days prior, you lose half of your deposit; within three days of planned arrival you lose your whole deposit (never more than two days worth). We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express, Personal, Cashiers or Travelers Checks, or Money Orders.
