Waisalima is and intimate, eco friendly hideaway where living close to nature is the only way to be. Sustainable farming on site fruits, vegetables, eggs and fish for dining excellence is the normal. A pure subterranean spring, gravity feeds the entire resort providing ample water for drinking, washing, showers and irrigation for the gardens during all seasons. Absolute beach front bures literally right on the beach cooled by coconut palms, provide guests a romantic, cozy comfort. Bures are constructed in traditional style using all local timbers, woven palm frond ceilings and walls. Guests are ensured a lovely blend of modern and homemade beach furnishings and can enjoy great beds and linen. Drift off to sleep listening to the soothing thunder of the distant breakers on the Great Astrolabe Reef while a cooling sea breeze rustles the coconut palms outside.
Awaken for breakfast by a merry chortling orchestra created by different birds. Facilities offer 24 hour solar lighting and gas hot water showers, laundry service and daily room service, fresh flowers, complimentary beach towels and all day tea or coffee. Hammocks are strung between the palms for plenty of pleasurable relaxation.
Internet access is available to guests through a broadband satellite connection. Public phone is also available to guests with Fiji tele cards or International calling cards.
For the avid photographer batteries can be easily charged in the Grand Bure or main office. The Coral Bar is fully licensed and well stocked with a selection of wines and spirits along with good Fiji Bitter beer.
