Tiliva Resort is Fijian owned. The proprietor having spent many years in Europe returned home to establish the resort in order to help his village – the village of Tiliva.
This eco resort is set in 18 acres of lush tropical gardens with its own secluded beachfront having magnificent views across the bay to the island of Ono. It is ten minutes away from the Astrolabe Reef and Waisomo Reserve.
The guest accommodation is self-contained bures (chalets) set among the trees for privacy but being just yards from the resort’s sandy beach. All the bures have full en-suite facilities, ceiling fans, private verandas and 24 hour electricity.
We care for the environment and are active in educating the villagers to be environmentally aware and responsible for this beautiful unspoilt island. Together in partnership with the village we are reserving parts of the two beachfronts to encourage the re-growth of the coral and breeding of clams.
Tiliva Resort is not a typical holiday destination. It offers unrivalled peace and tranquility in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is only a ten minute boat trip from the impressive Astrolabe Reef. The surrounding areas with their crystal clear waters are just waiting to be explored.
