Our self-contained beach studios are also situated on Muri Beach with views over a turquoise lagoon. Muri Beach is by far the most spectacular coastal section of all Rarotonga. Here the lagoon is at its broadest.
Known for its small, uninhabited islands called "motu" and wide lagoon, Muri Beach is ideal for picnics and all types of water sports including windsurfing, sailing, and kayaking. The motus are easy to reach even by "not so fit" swimmers.

Vara's consists of various character buildings in four locations nestled in tropical gardens situated either right on famous Muri Beach, Turangi Beach or on the hill-side offering stunning views of Muri Beach.
