The Town House Backpackers is the only accommodation property that is so central to everything, it’s almost like everything is right at your door step.

We are within walking distance to the two main banks, Foodland grocery store, gift shops, all the famous local night clubs, eestaurants, cafes, pharmacy, private doctors clinic, telecommunication center, rental vehicle companies, police station, movie theater, local markets, post office, cultural center, museum, library, wharf, government agency office, church and the main bus stop depot.

Beautiful beaches surround the entire island, if you wish to catch the bus and to find yourself a secluded beach all to yourself.

Townhouse Backpackers is a brand new establishment for budget travelers. One of the first homes built in the early 60’s in the heart of Avarua District, the main town in Rarotonga. It is the only budget accommodation property situated right in the heart of Avarua.

The Townhouse Backpackers only have 5 rooms. All five rooms are selling based on dormitory sleeping arrangements. We have 3 rooms with 1 double bunk beds and 1 single bed and one room is able to cater to 6 people, using 2 double bunk beds and 1 double bed. One room has one double bed and a double bunk bed in it. The good thing about our property is that we are able to change bedding arrangement in the rooms to suit our guest but this is based on availability.

Our 1 bedroom cottage house can accommodate up to 4 adults and it has its own en-suite kitchen and bathroom, ceiling fans, television and DVD player, secured and insect screen windows, fresh clean bed linen and an open balcony or deck.

Every room has secured and insect screen windows, ceiling fans, lock closet, dresser tables, and of course fresh clean linen on the third day of your stay.
