Reflections on Rarotonga - Muri Beach

Reflections on Rarotonga offer guests the choice of three luxury villas, two of which are absolute beachfront, and one a Beachside Waterfall villa. All are equipped to five star luxury standards. The property is situated on one of Rarotonga’s best beaches and the section of lagoon at our doorstep is considered to be the best location on the island for snorkelling.

The Beachfront villas are large and spacious with over 1,500 square feet of living space. They have a bedroom and bathroom on each of the two levels, each level also having a deck either side. The master bedroom has a super king four-poster hand carved bed fitted with mosquito nets, and matching bedside furniture. The master bathroom has twin matching pedestal basins, a toilet and bidet, and a circular glass brick shower with quality fittings throughout. Both bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.

The living area includes a complete Home Theatre System with DVD player, full surround sound stereo and 46 inch LCD TV, and we have a good selection of CD’s and DVD movies available at no charge from our office. There is of course a fully functional kitchen with all the amenities one would expect in this calibre of accommodation, including dishwasher and microwave. Floors throughout are marble, and all dinnerware and artwork has been hand painted and commissioned exclusively for our units.

One of the most exciting features of Reflections is that each beachfront villa has it’s own completely private freshwater swimming pool. As well the decks on the lagoon side reach within a metre or so of the high tide mark. BBQ’s are provided and the interior and exterior gardens add to the wonderful tropical atmosphere.

Our beachside Waterfall villa is a one-bedroom (super king bed) villa with only 25 footsteps to the lagoon edge. The lounge has a 32” wide screen TV and the same full Surround Sound Home Theatre Stereo system as the Beachfront villas. It is equipped with a full kitchen, and has a lovely private outdoor living area with it’s own private waterfall gently splashing into a fish stocked stream flowing through a lovely tropical garden. An ideal ‘hideaway’ with a lovely lagoon view from its back deck.

Reflections on Rarotonga has also recently been selected as the only property in the Cook Islands for membership to the exclusive “Small Elegant Hotels of the World” network.

The island offers lots of activities including diving, safari tours, off road biking, good restaurants and cafés, glass bottom boating, and outer island day trips, and these as well as rental scooters and air-conditioned cars.
