The website is the creation of Shaun Heath and Lorna Gull. It was developed after family and friends had commented on how hard it was to book accommodation online for our wedding in the Pacific. Websites looked like they were from the 80's, ads appeared everywhere, information was out of date, pictures were old and pages were cluttered.
We decided to do something about it. We started with a website solely for accommodation in the Cook Islands. After such a great response from both visitors to the website and listing enquiries we decided to repackage the site and open it up to cover more Pacific Islands.
Shaun is from Rarotonga in the Cook Islands and is currently an IT Consultant in Brisbane, Australia. Shaun spent the first 6 years after high school at University gaining a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Information Technology. These have allowed him to work and gain experience with some of the worlds largest organisations and taken him to every corner of the globe.
Lorna grew up in England, Switzerland and New Zealand. Lorna recently spent 3 years at University and gained her Bachelor of Nursing and is now a practising nurse in Brisbane. Both Lorna and Shaun have spent 2 years living and working in London, with many ventures across to Europe during that time. For the last 2 years we have both been based in Brisbane.
Stay Pacific Islands Limited is a registered New Zealand company. It began trading on April 2007 with the company number 1931392.
